Behind every dish is a journey—and at Asador, that journey is led by Chef Mason James. Raised in a family that valued bold flavor and creativity, his passion for cuisine began early and was refined through elite training at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island, including the AAA Five Diamond restaurant Salt.

After leading culinary programs at luxury hotels and resorts nationwide, Chef Mason returned to Renaissance Dallas as Executive Chef. His passion and dedication for flavor and technique continue to help elevate the property’s reputation for exceptional food quality. Today, he brings his fine-dining pedigree and creative vision to both Asador and Asador's private dining experience in Crystal Cove.
